There came a moment when the life I’d built no longer felt like mine. I’d spent decades in a demanding nursing career, raising a son, making responsible decisions… and slowly disappearing under the weight of them. One day, after yet another shift that left me hollow, I realized something in me had cracked. Not a breakdown, but a beginning.
I didn’t know exactly what to do next, only that I couldn’t keep going as I had. So I packed my dogs into my car and started driving south. Toward quiet. Toward space. Toward the possibility that I could rebuild myself into someone who didn’t feel so lost in her own life.
Today I live in the mountains of Mexico, in a small house that looks out onto pine trees and wide sky. I’m learning new rhythms, a new language, and a gentler way of being. I make videos, write, and share what I’ve learned about starting over in midlife, the courage it takes, the mistakes, and the unexpected grace.
My work is for anyone standing at the edge of their own change, especially people over 45 who feel that subtle but unmistakable shift inside, the sense that a bigger, truer life might still be possible. If you’re looking for guidance that’s real and encouraging, shaped by experience rather than theory, you’re in the right place. You don’t have to know every step. You just have to listen to that small, steady voice that says: there’s more for you than this. And there is.
