For longer rentals, check out websites like Vivanuncios, InMuebles24, MercadoLibre.com, Propiedades.com and MetrosCubicos, which can give you a better idea about prices and neighborhoods.  Craigslist.com is used in some cities.

I found my current long term rental on a Facebook group for expats in Morelia, and Facebook marketplace should be one of the first places you look!
